The SPA is sad to learn that Peter Cassini, one time regular petanque player and brother to Dani, died suddenly on Sunday.

Peter was most active playing in the late 80s and early 90s at Inverleith Petanque Club and in national competitions. He represented the SPA in the annual match against the British Petanque Association in York. Latterly, Dani persuaded him to come out of petanque retirement for a couple of competitions, and managed to win on both occasions!

Our thoughts are with Dani and the family at this difficult time.
