It is with heartfelt sadness that I announce that SPA member Jean Hutcheson died suddenly in Ninewells Hospital earlier this week.

Jean had been a member of Perth Petanque for many years and was a regular at club events and SPA competitions. She played for Scotland in the Home Nations on a number of occasions, most recently in Troon in August this year.

Always willing to help out and excellent at welcoming new players she, and her smile, will be sadly missed.

On behalf of the SPA, I would like to pass on our condolences to Henry and their family and to all of her many petanque friends.
