It’s with a heavy heart we write to remember our dear friend Anne Gardiner who passed away on Thursday the 7th December at Ayr Hospice. Anne has been a valued member of the Scottish Petanque Association for a long time and started playing with her beloved Robin. Anne continued to play throughout her battle with cancer, attending every competition she could, with her last competition being a charity event at Troon Petanque Club 2 weeks ago which saw her raise £600.

Anne’s smile, courage, determination, happy nature, amazing baking skills and love for life will be missed on the Petanque scene by each and every one of us.

Anne’s celebration of life will be held at West Lothian Crematorium on Friday the 15th of December at 2pm.
